Despite a report from PAHO last week that many Caribbean countries, including Trinidad and Tobago, have seen COVID-19 deaths double, Epidemiologist Dr. Avery Hinds says this does not mean the death rate is increasing locally.
He explained that as COVID-19 numbers continue to spiral, there will be a cumulative increase in deaths.
