Timely Disaster Relief Efforts

Relief efforts for the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines have allowed associations like the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers Association (TTMA) to create greater synergies with other entities to mobilise relief in a timelier manner in the event of a natural disaster. That's according to Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mahindra Ramdeen. He was speaking during a discussion hosted by the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management on Wednesday, in commemoration of the National Disaster Prevention and Preparedness Month. The Energy Sector was also a crucial partner. President and CEO of the Energy Chamber of T&T, Dr. Thackwray Driver, explained how energy companies mobilised to supply water to St. Vincent.
