Police in Tobago are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a boat drifting off waters near Belle Garden carrying several lifeless bodies.
According to reports, at around 6am on Friday, fisherman from the area spotted the boat and upon investigating, discovered the bodies.
The pirogue was towed back to the Belle Garden Fishing Port by the fisherman, and the police were contacted.
Police have since told TTT News there were six bodies on board.
Investigations are continuing.
