Apart from having to cancel the planned Pre-Olympic camp for the TT contingent to the Tokyo Olympics, the TTOC has also unveiled new measures to further enhance the safety of locals travelling to and from Tokyo. The TTOC president Brian Lewis indicated that talks are underway to arrange some kind of camp for the TT cyclists and swimmers, who will be among the first to see actual competition at the games and may need a period of acclimatisation before competing. He also outlined measures the TTOC is taking to bolster an already strict regimen outlined by the IOC and the Organising Committee.
