Hardware Stores, Bookshops Reopen

After weeks of being closed to members of the public because of this country's Public Health Regulations to safeguard against the spread of COVID-19, a number of bookstores reopened their doors on Monday. The reopening follows the announcement by Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley that book stores will be allowed to reopen to assist parents, students and teachers to properly prepare for upcoming exams. A number of bookstores on the weekend advertised via social media their hours of business operations. They have also committed to maintaining all COVID-19 public health guidelines which include ensuring that customers hand sanitise, wash their hands, wear masks and practice social distancing. Hardware stores will also be allowed to operate from today and will be open on Monday and Wednesday from 8am to 4pm, then Friday from 8am to 2pm, and again on Saturday from 8am to Noon.
