More COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in Trinidad and Tobago.
According to an update from the Ministry of Health, an additional 200,000 doses of the WHO approved Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine landed at the Piarco International Airport at 1:37pm on Monday.
Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, and Minister of Foreign and Caricom Affairs, Dr. Amery Browne, as well as Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Trinidad and Tobago, Fang Qiu, were on hand to witness the arrival of the vaccines, which were procured by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.
