Long Lines At Grocery Stores

As the weekend curfew designated by Government draws near, the Supermarket Association of Trinidad and Tobago has a few measures in place ahead of today’s expected rush at the grocery stores. President of SATT, Rajiv Diptee, says the Association anticipated a dash for groceries given the two-day curfew which begins at 7pm on Friday. Mr. Diptee is reminding customers that the police have intensified their patrols a few hours before curfew begins, and is encouraging them to get home on time. Mr. Diptee expected some grocery stores to close as early as 4pm.
