Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, says discussions are taking place between this country and the US Government on T&T's eligibility to qualify under a $500 million COVID-19 vaccine donation to developing countries.
Minister Deyalsingh was responding to a question in the Senate on Monday regarding a report quoting the Gavi Vaccine Alliance as stating that Trinidad and Tobago does not qualify for vaccines being donated by the United States to developing nations.
Minister Deyalsingh noted in the meantime, Government is going ahead with its Vaccination Programme
