Gold Cup Squad Named

Interim National Football Coach Angus Eve has named star attacker Kevin Molino in his first 26-man squad for the Gold Cup qualifier with Montserratt set for Miami on July 2nd. The locally-based players are set to fly out on Thursday after a final session on Wednesday morning at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva. Molino, who made a late second half substitute appearance for his new team the Columbus Crew on Saturday night against the Chicago Fire in their MLS clash, is now fully fit after a lengthy stint out injured with a grade two hamstring injury. He is the spearhead of the attack that also includes Joevin and Alvin Jones, Khaleem Hyland, the returning Marcus Joseph, as well as the Terminix Rangers pair of Ross Russell Junior and Isaiah Lee. Winger Levi Garcia is however absent, but younger brother Judah is included, while goalkeeper Nicklas Frenderup is back alongside Marvin Phillip and Adrian Foncette.
