Dangerous, disrespectful and delinquent. This is how Chief Secretary Ancil Dennis described the Opposition’s behaviour in the House of Representatives earlier this week during debate on The Constitutional Amendment (Tobago Self-Government Bill) and the Tobago Island Bill.
Mr. Dennis said based on what he saw in the Parliament, it was clear the UNC was not prepared to contribute towards the debate.
Mr. Dennis also refuted claims made by the Opposition that little to no consultation was had prior to the debate on both key legislations.
