TT Warriors Heading To Gold Cup Group Stage

The TT Warriors had it all to do in the second half with French Guiana after they let in a late equalizer just before half time in their crucial Gold Cup qualifier in Florida. Both teams huffed and puffed early in the first half, as they were feeling each other out. Then on 27 minutes Molino started the play and was johnny on the spot to turn in the rebound with the keeper scrambling to get back in position 1-0 TT. But instead of driving home their advantage, the TT players dropped their guard and just before the break the scores were level again, this time Arnold Aboletti's volley snuck in at the far post with Frenderup beaten. And after a scoreless second half, the teams went to penalties where T&T prevailed 8-7 with Gonzales scoring the winner after goalkeeper Frenderup saved to open the door for T&T to win it in sudden death penalties.
