Bankers Get Vaccinated

The Bankers Association of Trinidad and Tobago continued its vaccination drive on Thursday at the Divali Nagar Site in Chaguanas. Staff from First Citizens Bank and other banking institutions were spotted in line before they received the jabs. This is the second vaccination drive for the banking sector, which follows the first phase done for staff on June 17th. Volunteering and assisting with the drive was Revan Teelucksingh of SEWA TT, who said the organisation endorses the government's vaccination initiative. First Citizens Bank said a number of its employees volunteered for vaccination. The sector was initially allotted 2,000 doses from the Ministry of Health. At a recent press conference, Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh said the programme will be expanded to include those from credit unions.
