No Drones At The Zoo

A warning from the Emperor Valley Zoo on Sunday after a drone was seen flying inside the giraffe enclosure at the facility. In a post to its Facebook page, officials at the Emperor Valley Zoo pleaded with people not to use drones over the zoo as this frightens the animals. The post further stated that this could have caused a stampede and that severe injury could have occurred. Emperor Valley Zoo officials said they are concerned this type of equipment could cause stress and discomfort to any animal in close proximity and, as such, people should desist from flying their drones over the zoo.
