TTARP Encourages Retirees To Get Vaccinated

The Trinidad and Tobago Association for Retired Persons (TTARP) is working with the Ministry of Health to support the increased vaccine acceptance and the vaccine uptake to protect the lives of its members. Speaking at the Ministry's Virtual Media Conference on Monday, the Association's Honorable Secretary Mayling Younglao, said TTARP has already supplied its listing of over 21,000 members to the Ministry, with 40% heeding the call. Mrs. Younglao said she and her husband had their own fears about the vaccine as he has Non-Communicable Diseases, but she said their will to protect their family gave them the encouragement they needed. TTARP is hoping that more retirees register to be vaccinated.
