One Trade Union Leader is accusing employers of coercing employees to take the COVID-19 vaccine, and penalising them if they do not.
Head of the Seamen and Waterfront Workers Trade Union (SWWTU), Michael Annisette, reiterated that as it stands, COVID-19 vaccination is not mandatory.
However, Mr. Annisette clarified that unions are not anti-vaccine. He said it depends on individuals and what they choose to do and that the unions will only support the Government on making vaccines mandatory once the data suggests it will be safe for citizens.
