COVID-19 Vaccine Advocacy

In recent times we've seen the government of Trinidad and Tobago implement measures to curb the spread of the COVID-19. Added to this, the government has also gone full speed ahead with its vaccination drive. With the current COVID climate medical officials have been advocating and encouraging people to get vaccinated. While some are still undecided about taking the vaccine, encouragement comes today from some members of the sign language community. One member agreed there has been little discussion surrounding disabilities due to vaccine avoidance. Dr Paulson Skerrit, teacher and sign language interpreter, shares with us, why he believes it's important to get inoculated against COVID-19. Dr Skerrit underscores the importance of access to information especially for members of the hearing impaired community.
