Trinidad and Tobago's COVID-19 death toll has surpassed 1,100.
The Ministry of Health in its clinical update on Tuesday, reported nine more deaths from the virus, taking the death toll to 1101.
The persons were four men and five women, all with co-morbidities.
An additional 123 persons have tested Positive for the virus.
The number of cases reflects samples taken during the period July 30th to August 2nd. There are currently 5,756 active cases of Covid-19.
As at 4pm on Tuesday 398,479 persons have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, 195,165 persons are fully vaccinated.
