Over 600,000 COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Trinidad and Tobago.
In its clinical update on Thursday, the Ministry of Health said as at 4pm, 407,591 people have received the first dose, while 203,184 people are fully vaccinated.
In the past 24 hours, seven more people have succumbed to COVID-19, taking the death toll to 1,117. The Ministry said the persons were four men and three women, six of whom had pre-existing conditions.
Additionally, 232 persons tested Positive for COVID-19. Those results were from samples taken between August 1st and August 4th.
The total number of Active Positive cases is 5,823.
