Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley is assuring the population that Government will discontinue the State of Emergency at the first opportunity, even if the 90-day extension is granted on Wednesday.
Speaking in the Lower House, Dr. Rowley defended Government's move to extend the SoE, and by extension the curfew, saying its only being done to suppress night-time activity, which could cause COVID-19 infections to spiral.
