There are still several communities in Trinidad and Tobago that do not have access to a consistent water supply and according to Minister of Public Utilities Marvin Gonzales, this has reached crisis proportions, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, efforts are being made to address this issue following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between WASA and the University of Trinidad and Tobago.
