Additional Nominees To Police Service Commission

Two more nominees have been confirmed by the Office of the President, for appointment to the Police Service Commission. A statement from President's House on Wednesday said after consulting with Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, President Paula-Mae Weekes issued a notification in respect of Head of Wealth Management of Firstline Securities Limited, Maxine King, and Academic Head of the Caribbean Institute for Security and Public Safety, Ian Kevin Ramdhanie, as nominees for appointment to the PSC. Last week, notifications were delivered to the Clerk of the House of Representatives indicating that retired Justice of Appeal Judith Jones and Marlene Attong were also nominated for appointment.
