Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley says the People's National Movement (PNM) has no intention of letting the Internal Self Government for Tobago issue die. During Sunday's virtual launch of the Tobago Council's election campaign, Dr. Rowley criticised the Opposition UNC and the PDP for styming the process, noting that the implementation of the 15-seat Assembly is just the beginning of better representation for the people of Tobago. Meanwhile, PNM Tobago Council Political Leader, Tracy Davidson-Celestine, noted that despite the challenges Tobagonians have faced, there is hope for a better future with PNM representation. The Tobago House of Assembly Election will be held on December 6th, 2021.
