T&TEC Assesses Lighting Projects

Despite difficult financial circumstances, Minister of Public Utilities, Marvin Gonzales, said the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) continues to try its best to serve the people of Trinidad and Tobago by not only providing a reliable electricity service, but by also providing adequate lighting for public spaces like roadways, highways and parks. On Thursday, the Minister along with the Mayor of Port of Spain toured the capital city to assess the impact of public lighting projects over the past few months, which are all part of the revitalisation of the city. One such space is the Memorial Park in Port of Spain. TTT News met up with the Minister and his team while they assessed that project. Port of Spain Mayor, Joel Martinez, asked citizens to respect the improvements that are being made to the public spaces.
