PTSC Drivers On Strike

The PTSC commuters are the ones who are suffering! This is the lament of Chairman of the Public Transport Service Corporation, Edwin Gooding, who told TTT News that several drivers have not been coming out to work. He is very disenchanted with the union’s leadership, in particular President of the Transport and Industrial Workers Union (TIWU), Judy Charles. Mr. Gooding says for the last two years the PTSC has been managing the COVID-19 protocols to keep people safe. The Chair of the PTSC emphasised that the matter is before the Chief Personnel Officer and also at court. He says it is unfortunate the drivers have taken this stance as it is the citizens who are suffering.
