It is the National Commission for Self Help’s mission to continue to provide assistance to citizens to do much needed repairs to their homes. That’s according to Chairman of the Commission, Anthony Campbell. On Thursday, 20 families in the D’Abadie/O’Meara constituency received $285,000 in funding from the National Commission for Self Help Limited to do structural repair work to their homes after being impacted by adverse weather conditions. Mr. Campbell encouraged recipients to utilise them right away at the respective hardwares. Deputy Mayor of Arima, Herman Noel, was elated that the necessary help came for the Grant recipients.
