Food security, sovereignty in financial affairs, and COVID-19 vaccination are just some of the topics to be discussed by Caribbean Leaders at the 33rd Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Caribbean Community.
This, from CARICOM Secretary-General Dr. Carla Barnett. Dr. Barnett gave some insight into the meeting in a recent interview.
She said food security in the region has always been a priority of CARICOM, and the negative effects on food importation caused by the pandemic further underscores the importance of food security.
