T&T Under-20 Women Lose 5-0 To Canada

Trinidad and Tobago's Under-20 Women finished at the bottom of Group G as their FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Qualification Campaign ended on Monday evening. After 3-0 and 7-2 defeats in their first two matches sealed their elimination, T&T met group leaders Canada in their final match of the tournament in San Cristobal. Canada rested several key players having already advanced to the knock-out stage but still handed T&T a 5-0 thrashing. Goals in the 37th, 49th, 58th, 64th, and 90th erased any hope of a happy ending for the young T&T women, who will be expected to take the lessons from this experience into the next phase of their careers.
