Government Developing Work From Home Policy

A Work-from-Home Policy is being actively pursued by the Government. This is according to Leader of Government Business in the Senate, Clarence Rambharat, who was providing an update on the Government's planned policy. He said prior to the pandemic, a Sub-Committee was established to consider instituting a Work-from-Home initiative to improve the performance and productivity levels within the Public Service. Minister Rambharat said the Committee will work with Ministry of Digital Transformation in creating the policy, adding that the policy is complex and requires consultation with all stakeholders involved.
