After 16 years, the Council of Orisha Elders in Trinidad and Tobago returned to the Ancestral Grounds in Lopinot on Friday to commemorate World Earth Day, which is celebrated on April 22nd each year.
Members of the public were encouraged to do more to protect and preserve 'Mother Earth.'
