Parliament Reopens To The Public

The Public Gallery at the Parliament has been reopened to the public, effective today, May 3rd. The Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago, in a post to its Facebook page, said people who want to view a Parliamentary Sitting in-person can do so now. However, only 40 persons can be accommodated at each Sitting. Persons must adhere to the Parliamentary rules while visiting the Chamber, along with the Public Health Guidelines including socially-distanced seating, the wearing of masks, and sanitising hands before entering the Red House and the Parliament Chamber. The Parliament also announced that Chamber Tours are once again open to the public. Group tours will be limited to 15 persons.
