Tobago Cricket Festival This Month

The Tobago Cricket Association has announced the staging of a 40-overs tournament and a T20 Festival, in addition to the recently-held T10 Blast. The decision follows a recently held meeting with club officials. The 40-overs tournament will bowl off on Saturday 21st May, 2022 at four venues across Tobago. The eight registered clubs are divided into two groups of four. Defending champions Roxborough Strikers and Scarborough/Mason Hall head the two groups. Georgia, Police, and Airports Authority will join Strikers in Group A while C&B United, Charlotteville, and Club Crusoe will meet SMCC in Group B. The top two teams in each group following the round-robin phase will advance to the Semi Finals. Meantime, the T20 Festival will commence on Tuesday 24th May, 2022 with matches starting a 6pm at the Cyd Gray Sporting Complex, Roxborough. The teams will play in a round-robin format. The top two teams will play for a spot in the final. Third and fourth will clash in Eliminator One. The winner will move on to play against the loser of first and second in Eliminator Two.
