The Ministry of Health says 172 Positive Covid-19 cases have been recorded at schools across the country for the period May 23rd to May 29th.
Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, confirmed the figure on Wednesday morning during the Ministry of Health's Weekly Media Conference.
Minister Deyalsingh confirmed that 862 doses of the paediatric Covid-19 vaccines have been administered since vaccination began for the 5-11 age group last Wednesday, May 25th. Over 100,000 children between the 5-11 age group are eligible to be vaccinated.
