Parents Urged To Vaccinate Children

Pediatrician Dr. Petronella Manning-Alleyne is advocating vaccination in children, saying that they offer protection. She says there are several people who live with the residue of infectious diseases such as polio. Dr. Manning-Alleyne also added that myocarditis is not unusual in children. It should be noted that symptoms of myocarditis include breathing difficulties, chest pain, rapid or irregular heart rhythms among other symptoms. Several medical sites including Mayo Clinic and John Hopkins Hospital recommend getting emergency medical assistance if these symptoms occur.
