Roofing Construction Must Improve

Roof construction methods in Trinidad and Tobago need to be revamped. The statement by Senior Disaster Management Coordinator at the Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government, Jerry David. With the annual Hurricane Season in the Caribbean just beginning, he noted that a hurricane could be very devastating because of poor construction of homes. Mr. David added there are State Agencies that can assist vulnerable home owners to reinforce their structures to be able to weather the six-month Rainy Season. The Senior Disaster Management Coordinator was a guest on TTT's Now Morning Show on Wednesday.
