Yoga - a solution to local, physical, and mental issues. This, according to the High Commissioner of India to Trinidad and Tobago, Arun Kumar Sahu, during a Press Conference ahead of the 8th World Yoga Day on June 21st. Under the theme 'Yoga for Well Being,' the High Commissioner said the United Nations recognised the importance of yoga for healthy living. He noted that yoga connects internal to external, links the body and mind, and joins the material to cosmetic energy. On Monday June 21st, a yoga demonstrator will be on hand at the Chaguaramas Board Walk between 6am and 8am to commemorate the day. World Yoga Day has been adopted by 177 countries and was first celebrated in 2015.
