Mini Mart Owner Gunned Down In Moruga

Investigations are continuing into the homicide of 41 year old businessman Daryl Boodoo in Moruga on Saturday. According to police, at around 7pm, Boodoo was conducting sales at his Mini Mart, located at his home at La Rufin Road, when a man entered. Several loud explosions were heard and the man fled the scene. Boodoo was found face down in a pool of blood by relatives. He was rushed to the Princes Town District Health Facility where he was pronounced dead. The report stated that the deceased was shot in the chest. A post mortem is expected to be conducted.
