Helping Children Traumatised By Gun Violence

Children who have been traumatised by gun violence can receive help for such an event. Counselling Psychologist Sule Joseph says the effects of such violence can change a person and lead them down the wrong path of life. He says these children's psyche are heavily affected by being exposed to gun violence, such as witnessing a family member being killed. Mr. Joseph is recommending special intervention to prevent these children from falling through the cracks, or getting involved in violent behaviour themselves and perpetuating the cycle of violence.
