The main trade union bodies of the country met on Tuesday to vent their displeasure concerning the treatment of workers and Government's 4% wage offer.
President of the Public Services Association, Leroy Baptiste, took the Finance Minister to task for raising gas prices three times and increasing the cost 5% at each point.
Mr. Baptiste says that doing nothing is not an option for workers, because to stay quiet is to court more oppression.
