Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley weighed in on the allegation made by Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar that the Minister of Rural and Local Government, Faris Al-Rawi, is guilty of misbehaviour in public office, and conspired to pervert the course of justice.
Addressing constituents and party supporters at the Diego Martin West Constituency 49th Annual Conference on Wednesday night, Dr. Rowley said he has no role in that.
Dr. Rowley also touched on political standards, making reference to the trend whereby Opposition-aligned persons have faced criminal charges.
