The government is working very closely with Trinidad Generation Unlimited ...TGU.... to provide technical support after a series of power failures earlier this week. On the evening of Monday 7th November and early morning of Tuesday November 8th, several communities in East, West and South West Trinidad suffered power outages. Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley responding virtually to a question in the House of Representatives on Friday, gave an explanation for the power outages.
