Commission Of Enquiry Into Paria Diving Tragedy Resumes Today

The Commission of Enquiry into Paria Fuel Trading Limited to determine what caused the death of four men who were sucked into a 30-inch thick pipeline will resume today. The enquiry is set to begin from 10 o' clock this morning and will be carried live on TTT. The first order of business will be the Chairman's opening remarks, with opening remarks from the Counsel to the Commission, LMCS, and Paria. On Tuesday 22nd, the lone survivor, Christopher Boodram, will give his account. The Commissioners have six months to submit their findings from the start of the public hearings. The Commission of Enqiry was established to probe the circumstances that led to the deaths of Kazim Ali Jr., Fyzal Kurban, Yusuf Henry, and Rishi Nagassar after they were trapped in the pipeline on February 25th. Their bodies were recovered on February 28th and were reported to have drowned, according to their autopsies. Only Christopher Boodram survived.
