Following its sighting locally, the Institute of Marine Affairs took the lead in controlling and managing the invasion through scientific research and public education and awareness. Marine Biologist Farahnaz Solomon tells Kimberly about one such effort to controlling the invasion through the development of the Lionfish Fish Pot.
