Prioritising Women's Health

In recognition of International Women’s Day, the Ministry of Health is encouraging women to choose themselves, especially when it comes to their health. The Women’s Health Panel Discussion being hosted by the Ministry, “I Choose Me,” which can be viewed between Tuesday to Thursday on various local television stations, will inform women on what they can do to take better care of their health. Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, said women often put their health on the back burner as they are preoccupied taking care of everyone else. The week of activities begins today at each of the five Regional Health Authorities across Trinidad and Tobago.
